The Pool This is the river's source, fed by rain. The pool is situated in a large basin, worn deeper over time. This prevents flooding that could cause the waterfall to become too strong or become wider. It doesn't have any sudden increases in depth, making it safe for swimming, provided you don't go near the spillway. |
