1.

Be respectful. Everyone here is a sentient being and I expect each of you to treat your fellow members as such.

2.

Don't complain if things don't go your way. This is the internet. Not everything can turn out exactly as you want.

3.

Cursing is fine. Just don't go overboard.

4.

One character per account. There is no limit on how many characters you can have, but since there are only two Clans, each member may only have one high-ranking cat unless absolutely necessary. Oh, and talking of characters, the password to get into the character creation section is 'fallenclans' because reasons.

5.

No chatspeak outside of the cbox. And in the cbox, please keep it to a minimum.

• roleplay •

1.

No godmodding, powerplaying, or metagaming. This rule should be obvious, but I'll say it anyway. Your cat can't dodge every attack. You can't just go around saying 'Chucknorris sunk his teeth into Awesomepaw's neck, killing him' because it doesn't give Awesomepaw's player a say in anything. Lastly, just because you as a roleplayer knows something doesn't mean you character does. The only exception is in a Clan, where everybody knows everybody already.

2.

No two characters can have the same prefix. If you want to name your cat Snowheart and there's already a Snowtail, you'll have to choose another prefix. But believe me, there are so many you can use instead.

3.

There is a two-hundred-word minimum. Unless you're fighting, then it's only a hundred. It's hard to come up with things to type when all your character is doing is dodging.

4.

This site is PG-13. I'll go ahead and say don't get more graphic that the books do. If you absolutely have to roleplay out mating, then take it to another site.

5.

No chatspeak while in character. This really shouldn't have to be said. It's pretty much a universal rule on every site, after all.

6.

Same-sex relationships are perfectly fine. And if you're caught making a fuss about this rule, appropriate action will be taken. Your cats, however, can say what they like about it. Personally, I think Robinstep bad-mouthing her ex-love interest's choice of mate because she's jealous and they're both toms would make roleplay a little more interesting.

7.

Cats of all genders are accepted. Any members found being discriminatory outside of roleplay will be punished accordingly. If you would like to have a she-cat that identifies as a tom (for example) keep in mind that he will likely be misgendered by strangers due to his scent and said strangers will have to be corrected, as there is no way to alter one's scent.  Cats will assume the gender of unknown cats matches their sex based on scent.  If this upsets you, you may want to reconsider your cat's gender for your own well-being.

• combat •

1.

You only get three full dodges a fight. So save them for emergencies. Because if your opponent goes for your throat and you've used all your dodges, you're SOL. You can, however, partially dodge as many times as you like within reason.

2.

Killing without permission is not allowed. You must have the okay from the character's player.
